Felucca guest towels, set of 2

A set of two linen guest towels, each with a different felucca that is painted and embroidered by hand. They are handmade in Egypt, in Malaika's embroidery workshop in Cairo.

In that workshop, women learn the craft of embroidery; afterwards they work from home or in Malaika's factory. At the bottom, each towel has a fine ajour hem, made by drawing single threads out of the linen. The felucca, the traditional sailing boat of the Nile, gives the bathroom a light, summery feel.

Each towel measures 40 by 70 centimetres. Hang them in the guest toilet or next to the basin, or bring the same motif to the table with the Felucca napkin. Wash them inside out on a low spin.

Material: 100% linen, hand-painted and embroidered

Care: Follow the care label. Wash inside out on a low spin, separately the first time, and preferably dry on the line.
