A candle holder of alabaster, worked by hand in Luxor, Egypt.
Alabaster is a stone that has been used in Egypt since the time of the pharaohs. Place a candle inside and the stone glows softly, giving your table or mantelpiece a warm light. The shape is natural and slightly organic.
You buy the candle holder individually, in three heights: small (9.5 to 10.5 cm), medium (11.5 to 12.5 cm) and large (14.5 to 15.5 cm). Put a few of different heights together for a small group. Because each piece is worked by hand, colour and size vary a little. Alabaster absorbs water, so only wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The Gadus vase and the Moon bowl are made of the same stone.
