Swirl carafe set

A carafe set of mouth-blown glass with a coloured swirl in amber, blue or green, made by artisans in the historic centre of Cairo.

The set consists of a carafe and a matching glass. The glass is decorated with a swirl in the colour you choose. According to Malaika, the glassblowers use a technique that already existed in ancient Egypt. The carafe is 21 centimetres tall.

Keep the set beside your bed for water at night, or use it in summer for cool drinks. Because everything is blown by hand, each piece varies slightly in colour and size. From the same maker there is also the Trellis night carafe, with glass.

Material: Glass, mouth-blown

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a little washing-up liquid and dry with a soft cloth. Do not pour in boiling water. Small air bubbles are part of mouth-blown glass.
