Square Ajour cushion cover

A cushion cover in 320-thread-count percale of 100% Egyptian cotton, decorated by hand with ajour openwork and embroidered squares. It is handmade in Egypt by Malaika of Cairo.

For the ajour, individual threads are cut and pulled from the fabric. Into the open weave this creates, the maker embroiders a geometric pattern with precise stitches. It gives the cover a crisp, contemporary character that still feels timeless. It closes at the back with an envelope opening; the filling is not included.

Choose a rectangular cover of 41 x 30 cm or a square one of 40 x 40 cm, in beige, grey, teal or turquoise. On the bed it makes a calm accent beside the Siwa pleated pillowcase, which is also made of 320-thread-count percale.

Care: Follow the care label. Wash inside out on a low spin, separately the first time, and preferably dry on the line.
