Half-linen waffle towel, white

A white towel in half-linen waffle piqué, half linen and half cotton, with a weight of 400 g/m². It is made in Austria by Leinenweberei Vieböck, a traditional linen weaving mill in the Mühlviertel region.

The warp is strong linen yarn and the weft soft cotton. Together they make a slightly grainy fabric with a honeycomb-like relief and a twill-weave border. Linen feels cool to the touch. The towel is thinner than terry towelling, but absorbs plenty of moisture and dries quickly; after the first wash the waffle pattern becomes fuller.

You can choose a guest towel of 30 x 50 cm, a hand towel of 45 x 100 cm or a shower towel of 70 x 150 cm. It is pleasant in summer and a light addition to thicker terry towels. Allow for around 4% shrinkage in the first washes.

Care: Follow the care label. Wash separately the first time, do not use fabric softener (it makes towelling less absorbent) and preferably dry on the line.
