About this product
A tealight holder in salt stone from the Siwa oasis, cut out by hand in the maker's workshop in Egypt. It is 8 cm tall and about 7 cm wide.
The stone comes from the dried-out salt lakes of the oasis and is a mix of petrified sand and salt. In Siwa this material has been used for a very long time, including for building. The surface is never completely smooth: every holder has its own shades, texture and small irregularities.
Once the tealight is lit, the light glows warm and uneven through the crystals. Group a few together on a windowsill or let one burn on a side table. Keep it dry and always place the tealight in its own cup.

Material: Siwa salt stone (a mix of petrified sand and salt)
Care: Salt stone attracts moisture: keep it dry, out of the bathroom, and wipe it with a dry cloth. Use a tea light in its own cup.
